Because Of A Bump When Buying Mobile Phone Credit, Mouth Argument, A Man In Sidoarjo Stabs Someone

SIDOARJO - The police arrested a perpetrator with the initials L who slashed the victim with the initials AA at one of the mobile phone credit selling points in Krian. The reason is mutual nudges.

Sidoarjo Police Chief, AKBP Kusumo Wahyu Bintoro, said the stabbing incident was suspected to be a trivial incident.

"It is suspected that the two of them bumped into each other when they were going to buy cell phone credit", he said, quoted by Antara, Friday, June 25.

AKBP Kusomo recounted, just because of a body bump, fellow buyers at a cellphone counter got into an argument and ended up being slashed by a sharp weapon.

"This incident shocked the residents of Sidowaras, Kraton, Krian, Sidoarjo", he said.

At that time, said AKBP Kusomo, the victim with the initials AA came to buy credit. At the location AA accidentally bumped into one of the other buyers, the initials L.

After that, the two people, AA and L, had a verbal argument, even though the residents at the location broke up. L, a Tambak Kemerakan resident, felt that he did not accept the incident.

The perpetrator then went home with his son and not long after, L returned to the location carrying a sword and slashed the victim's body.

"However, the perpetrator's sword was deflected by the victim with his left hand. It injured the victim's hand. Knowing that the victim was covered in blood, the perpetrator fled. Residents took the victim to the Anwar Medika hospital", said the police chief.

Knowing this incident, the police rushed to the location and investigated the stabbing case, as well as hunting down the perpetrators who fled to account for their actions.

"Alhamdulillah, our team quickly caught the perpetrator from his escape at his brother's house in Taman Pinang Indah, Sidoarjo", he said.

To account for his actions, the perpetrator is subject to Article 351 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of five years.

"We urge the public to report to the officers if they know there are things that are considered to have the potential for criminal acts", he said.
