Jokowi-Ma'ruf TKN Reunion, PKB Denies 3 Period Discussion Meeting

JAKARTA - A number of political party officials who are members of the Jokowi-KH Ma'ruf Amin National Campaign Team (TKN) were seen holding a meeting some time ago. Interestingly, the meeting took place in the midst of the heated issue of the three-term presidential term.

Among those present were PDI-P Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto, PPP Secretary General Arwani Thomafi, PPP Deputy Secretary General Arsul Sani, Nasdem Secretary General Johnny G. Plate, Perindo Secretary General Ahmad Rofiq, PKB Secretary General Hasanuddin Wahid.

Then, PSI Secretary General Raja Juli Antoni, PKPI Secretary General Verry Surya Hendrawan, UN Secretary General Afriansyah Noor, and so on.

However, the Secretary General of the PKB, Hasanuddin Wahid alias Cak Udin, denied that the reunion discussed Jokowi's three-term discourse. According to him, this meeting only discussed the role of political parties in helping the government overcome the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Nothing, only how to mobilize all political parties to fully assist the government in dealing with COVID and economic recovery," said Cak Udin, Thursday, June 24.

It is known, the information was first known through the post of PSI Secretary General Raja Juli Antoni on his Twitter social media account.

In his statement, King Juli Antoni said the meeting took place by implementing strict health protocols. He claimed that there was no serious political discussion at the meeting.

"There were no serious talks. Light reunions and group dinners," said Toni, his nickname, quoted from his Twitter account @AntoniRaja, which was uploaded on Wednesday, June 23.
