BADUNG - A man named Muhammad Fadjrin (29) from Jember, East Java, was arrested by members of the Mengwi Sector Police, Badung Regency, Bali, for stealing a motorbike. The perpetrator admitted that he was desperate to steal a motorbike to buy goats to be used as sacrifices.

"The confession of the suspect is like that," said Knit Reskim of the Mengwi Police, Iptu Ketut Wiwin Wirahadi, Monday, June 14.

The perpetrator stole a motorbike belonging to Moch Badrut Tamam (37) when it was parked in front of his boarding house in Banjar Kebayan, Mengwi District on Saturday, June 12.

The victim only found out his motorbike was missing in the early hours of the morning. The victim immediately reported to the Mengwi Police.

"The perpetrator used a screwdriver to pry the keyhole," he added.

Based on the report, the police conducted an investigation and immediately arrested the perpetrator. The stolen motorbike was also seized by the police.

During interrogation, the perpetrator stole a motorbike in order to have money to be able to celebrate Eid al-Adha. The stolen motorbike is about to be sold in Jember. The money from the sale of the motorcycle will be used to buy sacrificial goats.

"The perpetrator also admitted that he acted in the Gebang area, Jember at three TKP and Bedugul at one TKP," said Iptu Wirahadi.
