A Fight, A Man In Buleleng Visits The Boarding House Then Slashes The Victim With A Sickle

BULELENG - A man named Dewa Made Arnawa aka Dewa Arjun (39) was arrested by police in Buleleng, Bali for persecuting Made Widi Sastrawan Alias Rinto (29). He slashes his victim with a sickle.

"It started with a difference of understanding and a verbal argument broke out between the victim and the perpetrator and eventually escalated to violence", said Head of the Public Relations Subsection of the Buleleng Police, Iptu I Gede Sumarjaya, Monday, July 14.

The assault took place on Sunday, June 13 night at the victim's boarding house in Gang Candi Baru, Buleleng, Bali. A fight ensues and challenges the victim to a fight. At that time, the perpetrator took a sharp sickle and looked for the victim at the boarding house.

The victim was approached holding a bamboo. The perpetrator immediately slashed the victim twice.

"The first is on the right leg and left hand because the victim felt injured and said he gave up, then the suspect stopped the slashing and returned to his house", added Sumarjaya.

The victim immediately reported the abuse to the Buleleng Police. The suspect and the evidence were taken into custody by the police.

"This case is still under investigation and when sufficient evidence is found for the alleged perpetrator's actions, coercive measures will be taken, but now the suspect is still being investigated", said Sumarjaya.
