JAKARTA - A simple sentence that is appropriate to express who Toeti Heraty really is according to the views of his colleagues and literary colleagues, Eka Budianta, is a complete figure. He is an academic, thinker, activist who is also a philanthropist. Meanwhile, according to social media activist Denny JA, the deceased was a feminist and women's empowerment figure.

The departure of Toeti Heraty on Sunday, June 13 left deep sorrow for many parties. Not only his children and grandchildren but also colleagues, friends, co-workers and many people who often interact with him.

Even though he is old, the spirit to work and do for many people never goes out. Even though to travel here and there he was accompanied by a wheelchair.

Now the late Toeti Heraty is gone forever. His body was interred at the Karet Bivak TPU, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, on the same day he returned to the fellowship of the Creator. There his father (Prof. Roosseno), poet Chairil Anwar, novelist Pramoedya Ananta Toer, and national hero Momahad Husni Thamrin also rested for good.

Mrs. Toeti is also a thinker," said Denny, adding that the deceased was also a teacher and was the head of the UI Philosophy department.
