Puan Maharani Is Asked To Be Realistic About The 2024 Presidential Election, Don't Fall For The Supporters Who Can Reach The Moon In The Sky!

JAKARTA - The name of the Chairperson of the Indonesian House of Representatives and PDI-P politician Puan Maharani recently emerged as a strong candidate in the 2024 presidential election. Apart from Puan, there are also Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo, Anies Baswedan and West Java Governor, Ridwan Kamil.

Recently, the public was also surprised by the large number of large billboards that were spread in several areas of East Java. Puan Maharani's face is clearly visible in a red dress on a billboard with the words 'Madam Puan.'

Some parties refer to this as Puan's warm-up ahead of the 2024 presidential election. Former Democrat Party politician Ferdinand Hutahaean also highlighted Puan's billboards.

Politically, Puan has the right to run as both a presidential candidate and a vice presidential candidate. "You have the right politically to run as a presidential or vice presidential candidate," Ferdinand said, quoted from his Twitter, @FerdinandHaean3, Sunday, June 13.

However, according to Ferdinand, Puan should be more realistic. "However, I suggest that you be more realistic, prioritize patriotism, and don't want to be misled by supporters who feel they can reach the moon in the sky. The political risk is too big for PDI-P and also for the nation!" explained Ferdinand.

Several points for the installation of billboards with the face of Puan are at Gunung Sari, Jemur Andayani, Karah Agung, Menur Pumpungan, and Jalan Kendangsari which are not far from the East Java PDI P DPD office. Including on Jalan Pasar Kembang, Hamlet Kupang, Gunung Sari.

In a survey of several institutions, the name Puan does not stand out much compared to Ganjar Pranowo, Anies Baswedan, Ridwan Kamil to Prabowo Subianto. Take the Indonesia Elections and Strategic (IndEX) Research survey, for example, which was released on Tuesday, June 8.

Prabowo's name is still perched in the top position with 18.5 percent of voters. Meanwhile, Puan is only around 1.2 percent. In contrast to Ganjar who is also a PDIP cadre with 16.7 percent and the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil with 13.4 percent.
