Police Hold Reconstruction Of Murder Cases Of 2 Manokwari Residents

MANOKWARI - Police have reconstructed 22 scenes from the reenactment of the DM and HS murder cases of two Manokwari residents who died from stab wounds.

Reconstruction with 22 scenes around the scene in Wosi Manokwari Barat Village. The reconstruction was closely monitored by 122 joint personnel from the Resort Police and the West Papua Police Mobile Brigade Unit.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Manokwari Police, Iptu Arifal Utama, said that there were 22 scenes in the murder case of two Manokwari residents, according to the information and demonstration of the two suspects with the initials AA and MS.

"The reconstruction was carried out based on the confessions of two suspects AA and MS in the Investigation Report (BAP) that was displayed at the crime scene," said Iptu Arifal, quoted by Antara, Thursday, June 10.

He said the reconstruction process was carried out to complete the case files for the two suspects which would then be transferred (Phase II) to the Manokwari District Attorney.

"We will complete the post-reconstruction AA and MS case files, which will then be handed over to the Prosecutor's Office," he continued.

The police expressed their gratitude to the families of the two victims and the community around the reconstruction site who took part in maintaining security so that the reconstruction proceeded safely.

"Thank you for the cooperation of the families of the late DM and HS along with the residents of the community around the scene of the incident who helped maintain security until the 22 reconstruction scenes were completed," said the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit
