KPK OTT, Kuansing Regent's Room, Wabup to Secretary of State Sealed

JAKARTA - A number of rooms at the office of the Regent of Kuantan Singingi (Kuansing), Riau, were sealed, amid information about the KPK's hand-in-hand operation (OTT).

At the office of the Regent of Kuansing, the entrance to the working room of the Regent of Kuansing Suhardiman Amby was seen with a red seal.

In addition to the regent's room, sealing was also carried out on the working room of the Deputy Regent of Kuansing Mukhlisin, Regional Secretary Zulkarnain, and Assistant I of the Kuansing Regional Secretary Fahdiasyah.

Until this news was written, there was no official statement regarding the party who carried out the sealing or its relation to the operation that took place in the area.

Previously, activities suspected of involving the KPK team were monitored in Kuantan Bay since Monday (29/6).

At that time, the area was holding the Riau Provincial Level Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) and the Pacu Jalur Rayon II Festival.

One of the locations of concern is the official residence of the Kuansing District Secretary Zulkarnain.

A number of Brimob patrol vehicles were seen arriving at the location and escorting a number of officers who entered the official residence area.

After the officers entered the location, the gate of the official residence was closed by the personnel of the Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja who were on duty.

In addition, information circulated that the Regent of Kuansing, Suhardiman Amby, was at the Kuansing Police Headquarters. However, this information has not been officially confirmed.

When reporters approached the Kuansing Police, access to certain areas was guarded by the police.

The officer on duty asked the journalists to coordinate with the Public Relations Section of the Kuansing Police to obtain further information.

"If you want confirmation, please contact the Public Relations Officer of the Police," said an officer at the location.

On Monday evening, a number of vehicles were seen moving from the residence of the Kuansing Regional Secretary to Pekanbaru. Meanwhile, vehicle activity was also monitored at Mapolda Riau until evening.

However, until now there has been no official statement from the police or the KPK regarding the series of activities that took place in Kuansing.
