16 Luxury Cars Belonging To The Suspect Asabri Are Auctioned, This Is The Price

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office for Asset Recovery Center (PPA Kejagung) is auctioning 16 luxury cars belonging to four suspects in corruption cases in financial management and investment funds at PT Asabri (Persero) to recover state losses.

"Given the high cost of storage and maintenance, there will be an auction of confiscated objects/evidence in the case, as stated in Article 45 of Law Number 8 of 1981 concerning the Criminal Procedure Code," said the Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) AGO Simanjuntak in a written statement in Jakarta, reported by Antara, Thursday, June 10.

Leonard said the 16 vehicles belonged to four Asabri suspects, namely the President Director of PT Asabri for the period 2011 to March 2016 Major General Retired. Adam Rachmat Damiri, Head of Investment Division of PT Asabri July 2012—January 2017 Ilham W. Siregar, Director of PT Jakarta Issuer Investor Relations Jimmy Sutopo, and Commissioner of PT Trada Alam Minera Heru Hidayat.

"The auction is conducted through the Jakarta IV State Property and Auction Service Office (KPKNL)," said Leonard.

The specifications for the cars being auctioned range from 2009 to 2020, with the lowest price being IDR 121.2 million for a Nissan Teyna brand vehicle, while the most expensive is IDR 6 billion for the Ferrari F-12 Barrlinetta.

Leonard said that the online auction was on Tuesday (15/6) with the bidding time starting at 09.00 to 11.00 WIB according to the time of the internet auction application server with the domain address http://www.lelang.go.id

The auction is carried out by bidding in writing without the presence of the auction participant via e-auction open bidding electronic mail which is accessed at the domain address https://www.lelang.go.id.

Bidders are required to deposit bid bid guarantees to the virtual account (VA) number of each bidder. A VA number will be sent automatically from the above domain address to each bidder. The collateral amount deposited into the VA account must be the same as required and deposited at once / must not be paid in installments.

"The guarantee must be effectively received by the Jakarta IV KPKNL no later than 1 day before the auction. All costs incurred as a result of the banking mechanism will be borne by the bidders," said Leonard.

Furthermore, bidders are individuals who have identity cards (KTP) and taxpayer identification numbers (NPWP) or legal entities that have a deed of establishment and amendments thereto (if any), KTP in accordance with the name stated in the company deed and their proxies (if authorized). ).

The auction participant who is appointed as the winner of the auction is obliged to pay off the auction price plus an auction fee of 3 percent of the auction price no later than 5 working days after being declared the winner of the auction If it does not pay off, the buyer will be declared in default and the auction bid security deposit will be directly deposited into the State Treasury.

The object to be auctioned is in accordance with the CONDITION AS IS. An explanation of the auction and direct viewing of the goods will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at the Asabri Building, Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo No. 11, Cawang, East Jakarta at 10.00-12.00 WIB.

Until now, the value of confiscated assets belonging to the suspect which has been temporarily confiscated by the AGO investigators has reached Rp. 13.5 trillion. The confiscated assets were in the form of land, buildings, ships, mines, luxury vehicles, jewelry, paintings made of gold, and many others.
