Depok City Government Immediately Launches Spiritual Guidance Card, Gets IDR 400 Thousand Incentive

DEPOK - The City Government (Pemkot) of Depok, West Java will soon launch Spiritual Guidance Cards for all religions. This spiritual guide card is one of the fulfillment of campaign promises in the 2020 Pilkada.

"We, the Idris-Imam pair, will increase incentives for spiritual mentors or Koran teachers or religious mentors in all religions in Depok City, be it Islam, Catholicism, Protestantism, Hinduism, Buddhism and Confucianism," said Deputy Mayor of Depok, Imam Budi Hartono. in Depok quoted by Antara, Thursday, June 10.

He said later the number of recipients would be increased from 300 to 1,000 people. While the previous value was Rp. 350 thousand to Rp. 400 thousand per person.

Imam expects the support of citizens to launch the program so that religious life in Depok City will be better.

He emphasized that the Depok program to become a religious city is in accordance with the vision of the Depok City RPJP, which is a city of commerce and services with an environmental and religious perspective.

"We hope that religious people in Depok City can carry out worship according to their respective religions and be religious because the leaders will diligently provide guidance to all of us according to the religion we adhere to," he said.
