Deadly Collision That Killed 1 Person In Jebres Solo Still Under Police Investigation

SOLO - Police are investigating the cause of a series of accidents that resulted in the death of one person in Solo, Central Java, on Sunday morning.

Head of the Law Enforcement Unit of the Traffic Unit (Kanit Gakkum Satlantas) Polresta Surakarta AKP Endang Tri Handayani said the accident occurred at 00.30 WIB to be precise on Jalan Juanda, Jebres, Solo.

the accident involved four two-wheeled vehicles and one four-wheeled vehicle.

For four-wheeled vehicles involved in the accident, namely Xenia, which was boarded by Bima Kuswahyudi (48) who drove from west to east.

From the same direction, the Honda PCX two-wheeled vehicle was driven by MA (18) with RN (16), precisely behind the Xenia car.

Meanwhile, three other Kawasaki Ninja motorbikes driven by BM (18), Yamaha Vega by NA (15), and Yamaha Vixion driven by MR (18) drove from east to west across Jalan Juanda.

"This Ninja motorbike from east to west wants to overtake the friend, but take it too to the right. Then coincidentally there is a Xenia car," he said in Surakarta, Antara, Sunday, March 2.

At that time the Ninja rider was unable to avoid a collision with the car from the west until finally the Ninja driver fell to the left.

"Friends from behind (Vixion) broke down because they couldn't control it, it was too tight. Then Vega's vehicle that was walking from behind Vixion hit Vixion and Ninja that bounced to the left," he said.

After the three two-wheeled vehicles collided, Xenia had a chance to brake. But from behind PCX avoided Xenia by pointing the vehicle to the right so that it hit the three vehicles.

As a result of this incident, the Ninja driver died. While others are currently still undergoing treatment at the Moewardi Hospital, Solo.

Related to this, he said, police officers had conducted a crime scene (TKP) and examined the driver of Xenia.

"The witness has received it but is not ready to be questioned," he said.

Meanwhile, his party denied that the incident was an act of illegal racing.

"It's not wild racing, it's just going around with the kids. These kids ride motorbikes together," he said.
