NTB Police Transfers the Narcotics Case of the Former Bima City Police Chief to the Prosecutor's Office

MATARAM - The West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police (Polda) has handed over the drug case of the former Head of the Bima City Police (Kapolres), Didik Putra Kuncoro, to the public prosecutor.

The NTB High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) General Criminal Coordinator, Budi Muklish, said the transfer of the case was the final stage of the investigation process at the police.

"So, today is the second stage or the handover of the suspects on behalf of Didik and drug evidence from the police investigators to the public prosecutor," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, June 18.

He said the implementation of the second phase took place at the Bima District Attorney's Office (Kejari) which was the locus of the case.

Although the implementation of the second phase is still ongoing, Budi from the public prosecutor's team (JPU) has not been able to provide more detailed information.

"We will inform you of the complete information later," he said.

Budi only ensured that in the implementation of the second phase, it was only for the suspect Didik Putra Kuncoro.

"For others there is none, today only Didik," he said.

In this case, the NTB Police had carried out the first stage of the second stage for the other five suspects on June 9, 2026.

Those who first underwent the second phase included the former head of the Narcotics Unit of the Bima City Police, Malaungi, Herman alias Kevin, Yusril Ismahendra alias Ucok, Anita alias Bunda, Irfan alias Carol.

Regarding the five suspects, the public prosecutor said that his party continued to be detained at the Bima Detention Center.

Budi revealed that there were 10 suspects in this case. In addition to Didik Putra Kuncoro, there are still suspects who have not been handed over to the prosecutor, namely Erwin Iskandar alias Koko Erwin, Ais Setiawati, Hamid alias Boy, and Satriawan alias Dae Awan who have the status of a wanted person (DPO) by the police.
