Execution of Block 15 GBK Ex-Hotel Sultan Held This Thursday, 300 Personnel Dispatched

JAKARTA - Technical preparations ahead of the execution of Block 15 Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) ex-Hotel Sultan continue to be perfected. Chairman of the Transition Team for Block 15 GBK, Hendry Arisandi, led the preparation appeal directly on Monday (15/6/2026) to ensure the land clearance process runs smoothly.

The actual execution of the disputed area is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

Involve 300 Personnel and Technical Agencies

The preparations held today involved at least 300 joint personnel from various strategic elements, including:

Bung Karno Complex Management Center (PPKGBK) Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensetneg) Legal Team Public Assessment Service Office (KJPP)

Not only the security and law enforcement agencies, the PPKGBK also collaborated with PLN and Telkom to anticipate and support technical smoothness in the field during the execution.

In the briefing, all personnel were equipped with strict guidelines regarding asset recording procedures, documentation, and securing goods. Hendry emphasized that a uniform understanding in the field is crucial so that there is no miscommunication.

Focus on Legal Order and Asset Documentation

According to Hendry, the aspect of recording and documentation is an important pillar so that the execution of Block 15 GBK runs orderly, carefully, safely, and fully complies with the applicable legal corridor.

"PPKGBK is very careful in this process. We want to ensure that all items at the location are recorded and well documented. According to the court's decision, items that are not attached to the land and buildings are still the property of the previous manager, namely PT Indobuildco," said Hendry at the GBK Senayan Complex, Jakarta, Monday (15/6/2026).

Response to PT Indobuildco who has not vacated the land

This anticipatory step was taken because PT Indobuildco as the previous manager had not shown the intention to vacate the execution object, even though the deadline and court order had been issued.

If on the day of execution, items belonging to PT Indobuildco are still found within the 15 GBK Block area, PPKGBK has prepared a neat handling mechanism:

Data Collection & Documentation: All assets will be recorded in detail. Transfer: Items are carefully moved by officers. Safe Storage: All items are stored in a guarded place.

"Our principle is clear, this execution is the implementation of a court order. But at the same time, we still maintain the rights to the property of the previous manager. Indobuildco has been given up to six months to take their goods," concluded Hendry.

Hendry appealed to all joint personnel to work professionally, accountable, and not take any action outside the procedures (SOP) in order to avoid losses on both sides.
