Tebo - Tebo Police, Jambi Police have arrested a man with the initials AF (37) who is a caretaker of a pesantren (ponpes) in the Tebo Tengah Ilir District, for allegedly committing acts of sexual abuse against a number of female students in the area.

From the initial examination, the police found that AF allegedly had committed sexual intercourse and sexual assault against a number of his students in the period from the beginning of 2024 to June 3, 2026.
In carrying out his actions, the suspect is suspected of using a manipulative modus by claiming to be able to treat the past trauma experienced by the victim.
To the victims, AF said the healing process was carried out through a "ritual" that led to sexual intercourse and sexual assault.
Currently, the police have listed at least seven female victims with ages ranging from 16 to 19 years old. In addition, a number of witnesses have also been questioned to strengthen the investigation process.
