Technical Process Still Being Worked On, Residents Asked to Be Patient to Wait for Registration of DKI Solid Works with a Salary of Rp5.7 Million

JAKARTA - Although the news about the opening of 2,843 labor-intensive jobs with a salary of UMP Rp5.7 million has been blowing hard, DKI Jakarta residents seem to have to be a little patient. The DKI Provincial Government (Pemprov) confirmed that until now the registration process has not officially opened because the regulation and technical implementation of the program are still in the finalization stage.

This step was taken to ensure that the distribution of work areas and the placement of thousands of new workers are really on target. The Special Staff for Social Communication of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Chico Hakim, revealed that currently the relevant departments are completing all the details of the rules before throwing them to the public.

"Currently, the program is still in the finalization phase by the relevant agencies," Chico told reporters in Jakarta, Monday, June 8.

This finalization phase focuses on mapping the details of the work areas in the field and determining the priority location points that need the most handling. As is known, this labor-intensive scheme will later involve the community in simple physical projects, such as environmental cleaning, area arrangement, to infrastructure improvements at the regional level.

Apart from the problem of mapping work, the DKI Provincial Government is also finalizing the data verification system for registrants. The reason is that Governor Pramono Anung has given strict rules that this social assistance program must be free from out-of-area registrants and purely to help residents of the capital who are being squeezed economically.

"Only have a DKI Jakarta ID card. This is the only requirement emphasized by the Governor to ensure that this program becomes a social cushion for Jakarta residents who are affected by economic pressures," said Chico.

Previously, the Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung had knocked on the hammer to open this program for the next three months to reduce the unemployment rate and maintain the purchasing power of low-income people.

"The labor-intensive scheme so that people can work, and we open approximately 2,843 vacancies. And they are paid equivalent to UMP in DKI Jakarta," said Pramono at the DKI Jakarta City Hall.

The DKI Provincial Government promises that once all of these technical finalization processes are completed, the registration mechanism, formation details, and supporting document requirements will be immediately announced transparently through official channels, government social media, and mass media. Residents are also urged to continue to monitor official information so as not to be left behind or trapped in hoax information related to this recruitment.
