Jakarta Fair 2026 Held on June 11, Targeting 6 Million Visitors and Transactions Reaching Rp8 Trillion

JAKARTA - The Kemayoran Jakarta Fair (JFK) will be held again this year. The largest exhibition and entertainment event in Southeast Asia will take place for 32 days, starting from June 11-July 12, 2026 at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

JIExpo targets more than 6 million visitors during the event. The transaction value is also pegged to be close to Rp. 8 trillion. This target is higher than the achievement of the Jakarta Fair last year which recorded 5.9 million visitors with a total transaction of Rp. 7.3 trillion.

"Last year we saw that we reached approximately 5.9 million visitors with a transaction of Rp. 7.3 trillion. Of course, we hope that this year the visitors will be above 6 million and maybe the transaction will also approach Rp. 8 trillion, our target," said Marketing Director of PT Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Ralph Scheunemann at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Thursday, June 4.

Even so, Ralph did not deny that global conditions could affect the achievements of the Jakarta Fair this year. According to him, a number of exhibition agendas in various countries have even been canceled due to the unstable geopolitical situation.

"For example, if all the exhibitions in the Middle East are average in the last few months and in the next few months, they will all be canceled due to the hot situation in the Middle East," he said.

Ralph admitted that the target was set in the midst of global economic conditions that were still volatile. However, he remained optimistic that people's purchasing power and business activities in Jakarta were able to support the annual exhibition.

"We hope that the impact in Indonesia or Jakarta in particular is not as big as in other places. Because we see that many other exhibitions have been canceled," said Ralph.

Jakarta Fair 2026 is the 57th event since it was first held in 1968. This year, the event is also part of the series of celebrations for the 499th anniversary of DKI Jakarta and towards the 500th anniversary of Jakarta City in 2027. Ralph said that the Jakarta Fair will be involved in various agendas leading up to the celebration of five centuries of Jakarta.

"We are one year away from welcoming the 500th anniversary of the birth of the Indonesian capital, Jakarta. Where it can be said that this year's Jakarta Fair is one of the road to 500 years. So we will work very closely with the DKI Provincial Government to plan and carry out activities. road to 500 years which will start from this year, 499," he explained.

In terms of participants, this year's Jakarta Fair was attended by 2,800 participants with 1,800 exhibition booths. The composition consists of 55 percent of the private sector and 45 percent of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Participants will showcase a variety of products from the automotive, electronics, gadgets, household appliances, furniture, fashion, culinary, creative industries, cosmetics, to financial services sectors.

Not only as a promotional and business transaction event, the Jakarta Fair also continues to rely on the entertainment sector to attract visitors. During the 32-day event, the Jakarta Fair Music Concert stage will present a number of national musicians such as Slank, Hindia, Sal Priadi, Kotak, J-Rocks, Last Child, Tipe-X, The Changcuters, Fiersa Besari, Juicy Luicy, Superman Is Dead, Endank Soekamti, JKT48, NDX AKA, Perunggu, to For Revenge.

Continuing, General Manager of Operations JIExpo Oki Setiawan said his party also prepared a number of improvements to supporting facilities, including public transportation access to the exhibition area. One of them, Transjakarta will add services to Jakarta Fair during the event.

"This year, when the Jakarta Fair is also there will be additional Transjakarta routes to the Jakarta Fair from several locations that can be connected to the Jakarta Fair. It will be entered at the stop attached to our Gate 2," said Oki.

The TransJakarta routes that serve the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran 2026 are PRJ 1 Kampung Melayu-JIExpo, PRJ 2 Pulo Gadung-JIExpo, 2C City Hall-JIExpo, and 1W Blok M-Ancol.

The ticket price for this year's Jakarta Fair has not changed. Tickets are priced at Rp. 40 thousand on Monday, Rp. 50 thousand for Tuesday to Friday, and Rp. 60 thousand on Saturday, Sunday, and national holidays.
