JAKARTA - The vendors providing social assistance packages (bansos) said they had committed fee fees to Matheus Joko Santoso and Adi Wahyono as subordinates of Juliari Peter Batubara. The amount reaches hundreds of millions of rupiah.

They include Rocky Josep Pesik as Director of PT Andalan Pesik International, Raj Indra Singh as Director of PT Global Tri Jaya, Mochamad Iqbal as Director of PT Total Abadi Solusindo, and Go Erwin as Director of PT Era Nusantara Prestasi and owner of CV Nurali Cemerlang.

This confession began when the presiding judge Muhammad Damis asked the witnesses about whether or not they had given money after being appointed as the provider of the social assistance package.

"To Brother Rocky, have you ever given money to Matheus Joko?" asked Damis during the trial at the Corruption Court, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 9.

Then Rocky said that he had given money to Matheus in the amount of Rp. 150 million. The granting of money is carried out in three stages.

"Yes, 3 times 50 million," replied Rocky.

"That's 150 million? What's that for?" said Damis.

"Yes, for (money) thank you," said Rocky.

Hearing this answer, Damis turned to Raj Indra Singh who was asked to answer a similar question. He said he also gave Matheus Rp. 100 million.

"Yes, Rp. 100 million," replied Raj.

"At that time I finished the 7th (social assistance) package. I was asked by him (Joko) to help the children, for administration, helping the children who helped with the administration. I gave it one time," continued Raj.

Then, Damis turned to witness Mochamad Iqbal. In his confession, there was a gift of Rp. 400 million to Matheus.

"Ever (given) Rp400 million, once, at the Ministry of Social Affairs," said Iqbal.

The money was given because there was a request from Matheus and Adi Wahyono to contribute to activities at the Ministry of Social Affairs.

"I was asked to contribute to activities at the Ministry of Social Affairs, sir, by Adi and Joko, (they) did not ask for Rp. 400 million, they only asked for a contribution, the amount was not stated, it was just the rest of my personal funds, my honor," said Iqbal.

Unlike the others, witness Go Erwin said that he had never handed over to Matheus and Adi.

"Did you hand it over to Joko or Adi?" asked the judge.

"No. Absolutely not," replied Erwin.

Hearing that answer, Damis insisted that Erwin give the truthful statement. Because, in the previous examination, he admitted that he had given money with details of Rp. 50 million.

"I beg you, brother, last night you gave information, how come it's different, brother. There are details that are 50 million, 50 million, you change your information again?" Damis said

"I didn't say it like that," Erwin replied.
