JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General TNI Andika Perkasa will bring Pratu Romi's lover, an Army soldier, who is undergoing intensive treatment at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital. Pratu Romi was shot while undergoing surgery in the border area.

"You already have a boyfriend? Do you want him to come?" Kasad General TNI Andika Perkasa asked Private Romi, who is undergoing treatment at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital in Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Monday, May 7.

The Army Chief of Staff said it would bear the costs of the departure of Pratu Romi's lover to Jakarta.

"We will arrange the departure later. We must recover," he said.

When visiting Pratu Romi, the Army Chief of Staff ordered the soldiers not to leave their lover who was willing to accompany him when he recovered.

"When you are healed, don't look for someone else, okay. You are sick. He wants to come here, a sign of concern," said the Army Chief of Staff, greeted by laughter from the people in the room.

A soldier of the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI) from the Border Security Task Force, Pratu Romi, suffered a gunshot wound and had to receive intensive care at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital.

The presence of Pratu Romi's lover, which was an initiative of the Army Chief of Staff, was also motivated by the fact that his parents could not come because of illness.

Meanwhile, Pratu Romi did not think that the treatment at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital was a direct order from TNI General Andika Perkasa.

"I'm nervous, the pain is also gone because the Army Chief of Staff wants to come here," he said.

In fact, he was even more moved because the Army Chief of Staff offered and ordered his girlfriend to visit the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital.

"As an Army soldier, I am very grateful that Mr. KSAD has given more attention," he said.
