Sadistic, Jambret in Semarang Dare to Hit the Victim's Face with a Knife

SEMARANG - Police are handling a pickpocket case where the perpetrator injured the face of the victim who occurred on Jalan Halmahera, Semarang City, Central Java, on Sunday, April 5.

East Semarang Police Chief Iptu Andy Susanto said the incident began when the victim ACH (31) picked up his friend YH (30) at his house on Jalan Halmahera when he was going to go to church.

When he arrived in front of the victim's house, he said, ACH who was riding a motorcycle was suddenly hit by two people who were riding a motorcycle.

"The perpetrator forced the victim to hand over his wallet and mobile phone," said Andy, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, April 7.

The victim, YH, who knew his friend was threatened by two unknown people, continued, then tried to help.

According to him, the perpetrator was carrying a sharp weapon and tried to attack the victim who resisted.

In the incident, he continued, the victim YH suffered injuries to the face due to the attacker's sharp weapon.

Meanwhile, the two perpetrators, he said, then fled after acting.

Andy said the injured victim YH had received treatment at the health center, before finally reporting to the police.

He explained that officers had received a report and were investigating the crime.

"Officers have carried out crime scene investigation. The East Semarang Police were supported by the Semarang Police in investigating the crime," he said.
