This reflects a coordinated approach to strengthening the Indonesian health ecosystem.
Encouraging Access to Innovative Drugs

IPMG Executive Director Ani Rahardjo said that his party encouraged the creation of a predictable and transparent policy environment, strengthening the implementation of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) including through the stakeholder-led submissions (SLS) mechanism, the development of sustainable pricing and procurement mechanisms, and stronger coordination between registration, financing, and patient access pathways.
"IPMG will continue to play a constructive role in supporting policy dialogue and strengthening implementation in line with national health priorities. We remain open to collaborating to build a more resilient health system and improve Indonesia's competitiveness," said Ani.
IPMG upholds ethical standards as the foundation of trust, patient welfare, and a well-functioning health system. Efforts to prevent corruption and responsible interactions throughout the health ecosystem are key in maintaining integrity, expanding patient access to quality medicines, and protecting public interests.
IPMG also refers to the Code of Practice of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA) which regulates interactions with health workers, medical institutions, and patient organizations globally.
Going forward, IPMG continues to be committed to working collaboratively with all stakeholders in strengthening the Indonesian health system, improving patient health outcomes, and promoting national competitiveness.
IPMG believes that health is not a cost, but a strategic investment - which is essential to realize a healthier, more productive, and globally competitive Indonesia.
