JAKARTA - PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan highlighted the scarcity of oil due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz due to the Iran-Israel war. According to him, the people of Indonesia should be grateful to have a president like Prabowo Subianto because in the midst of this situation the RI oil stock is sufficient and the price is relatively stable.

"If we look at the current world developments, I think we don't need to discuss it again, we all do it every day. I sometimes, Mr. Hatta, I have trouble sleeping when I see America-Israel attacking Iran, I can't sleep. Outside of what, outside of reason. Outside the boundaries of us as human beings. I think it's barbaric, especially now against the Palestinians in Gaza. And we can't do anything, except pray. And now we are seeing, we are witnessing countries almost all affected. ASEAN, for example, we have seen the Philippines has announced an energy emergency. You have announced an energy emergency, brothers and sisters. If we look again at Pakistan, India has started to spread. Even dark. If Latin America is dark, riding a bicycle, because there is no gasoline. I am grateful, because this is what our President always talks about," continued the Coordinating Minister for Food.

In fact, according to Zulhas, Indonesia has experienced rice difficulties in the era of President Joko Widodo. However, in the current government era, difficulties do not occur because Prabowo has anticipated.

"And brothers and sisters, this is what Mr. Prabowo has said many times, even at that time we were sometimes in doubt. Well, now it has been proven. Yes, Mr. Jokowi, we have had trouble getting rice. Now, we feel the difficulty of getting oil or energy, as well as other countries," he said.
