Monas is invaded by 13 thousand visitors on H+2 Lebaran

JAKARTA - The National Monument (Monas) tourist area in Central Jakarta was visited by 13,503 people on the second day of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah/2026 Masehi or Sunday.

"Visitors today for the Monas area from 06.00 to 12.00 WIB were 13,503 people, of which foreign tourists (tourists) were 151 people," said Head of the Monas Area Management Unit (UPK) Muhammad Isa Sarnuri, quoted by Antara, Sunday, March 22.

As for Lebaran, the Monas tourist area is closed and reopened today. The special monument operating hours today until March 27, 2026 are from 08.00-18.00 WIB, while for the area from 06.00-22.00 WIB.

Then, on March 28 and 29, 2026, the monument area will be open from 08.00-22.00 WIB, while for the area from 06.00-22.00 WIB.

Isa said the management prepared a number of events today through the "Lebaran at Monas" program which is located on the south side of Monas, namely video mapping and dancing fountain performances.

In addition, there were musical performances enlivened by a number of musicians such as Vagetoz, Sigit Wardhana, Cut Mila, 3 Sanca, Bikin Hepi, Dorrein Latuputy, Deddy Lisan, Orkes Biang Kerok, and Wahyudiramdan.

Meanwhile, the management of Monas has implemented free entry services to the Monas Monument to the Cawang courtyard for recipients of the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP), elderly with Jakarta KTP, and people with disabilities with Jakarta KTP.
