Firli Bahuri: KPK Leaders Have No Intention To Get Rid Of Someone

JAKARTA - The head of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri has denied allegations that the National Insight Test (TWK) was held intentionally to get rid of 75 employees.

He emphasized that the TWK which was attended by 1,351 KPK employees was carried out using the same instruments, measuring tools, questions and working time.

According to him, the results of the TWK then showed that there were those who met the requirements and did not meet the requirements and did not meet the requirements to become State Civil Apparatus (ASN).

"We, the leadership, have no intention of getting rid of someone. Everything is done according to mechanisms and procedures," said Firli at the DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, June 3.

Firli emphasized that whether or not the employees passed was the result of their respective efforts.

"It has nothing to do with it, people who pass do not pass it because of him alone. What is my interest in making a list of people?" he said.

Firli also admitted that he was surprised if anyone accused the KPK leadership today of wanting to get rid of individuals through a national insight test.

"I'm a bit surprised if there is a sentence that there is an attempt to get rid of. I want to say there is no attempt to get rid of anyone," he said.

Previously, the Chairman of the KPK Firli Bahuri inaugurated 1,271 people who were deemed to have fulfilled the requirements as ASN yesterday. Meanwhile, 75 employees who were deemed ineligible were not appointed.

The latest decision, as many as 51 of the 75 disabled KPK employees were branded as 'red' and could no longer join the KPK. While the other 24 can still become ASN as long as they want to be fostered.

However, to this day there has been no official decision letter from the KPK leadership regarding the fate of the 51 employees who have been 'red' and 24 employees who can still be fostered.
