The Head of the BPBD Cimahi Implementation, Fitriandy Kurniawan, said that hundreds of damaged houses were spread across three affected areas, with the most damage occurring in Padasuka Village, Central Cimahi District.

"The provisional data that we have collected is 129 houses that have been damaged by tornadoes in three affected areas. Currently, officers are still conducting further assessments in the field," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, March 6.

Based on the provisional data of the BPBD, the most severe impact occurred in Padasuka Village, Central Cimahi District, which recorded 117 houses damaged with light, medium to heavy categories.

In addition to residents' houses, two mosques and one residents' community (RW) office in the area were also reported to have been damaged by the strong winds.

"Most of them are minor and moderate damage. There are also three houses that are severely damaged. Officers are still conducting data collection," he said.

The tornado disaster also caused four residents to suffer minor injuries due to being hit by the roof of their houses and other materials.

In addition to Padasuka, 12 houses in Cimahi Village, Cimahi Tengah District, were also affected by strong winds with minor damage without any casualties.

"In Cimahi Village, there are 12 houses that are slightly damaged. Thank God there are no victims," he said.

Meanwhile, in the area near the Cimahi City Government office complex, there were two trees that fell down, each on Jalan Rd. Hardjakusumah and Jalan Ciawitali.

The fallen tree reportedly damaged a cart belonging to a trader and one vehicle at the scene.
