Against the Current because of Google Maps, TNI Member: "Never Tolerate"

JAKARTA - A black sedan type car was recorded by a camera driving in the opposite direction on Jalan DI Pandjaitan, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta.

The incident had triggered tension between the car driver and a man in the TNI uniform.

Moreover, the incident had sparked a debate because there were drivers who were going against the direction.

"He is wrong on Google maps, he is sorry, it's a pity to walk around," said the man in a green uniform.

Not finished there, it turned out that there was another car unit that went against the direction so the debate was getting more intense.

The driver of the car traveling in the same direction tried to block the speed of the vehicle going in the opposite direction. He also suggested that drivers of cars going against the flow should turn around.

However, the effort failed because the man in the green uniform continued to insist that the traffic offender be given the wisdom to go against the flow. He also said that the driver was lost because of google maps.

"At least a little tolerance, this is on the traffic jam," he said.

Responding to the many cars that went against the flow, the KBO Satlantas of the East Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Eko Apriyanto said that his party had taken action at the scene.

"We have followed up since this morning," he said when confirmed by VOI, Thursday evening.

AKP Eko said that his party would continue to monitor the location so that the traffic violation incident would not be repeated.
