JAKARTA - The Palembang Forensic Laboratory Center (Puslabfor) and inafis are assisting in the investigation of a case of a body wrapped in plastic that was tied in a hostel in Bandarlampung City.
Based on monitoring at the location, Wednesday, the Puslabfor and Bandarlampung Police teams arrived at the kosan location which is on Untung Suropati Street, Labuhan Ratu District at 9.30 WIB and finished at 11.50 WIB.
Then, the Puslabfor team immediately conducted an inspection of the room occupied by the victim and the surrounding environment of the boarding house.
"Today, the team from Puslabfor Palembang and inafis helped us in conducting an investigation related to the discovery of a body in the hostel," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Bandarlampung Police, Kompol Gigih Andri Putranto.
He admitted that he had not been able to convey much information related to the discovery of the body and was still waiting for the results from Puslabfor.
"The results will be waiting for the results of the Puslabfor team," he said.
