Get Prabowo's Special Attention, SDN Cimahpar 5 Bogor Now Has Wah Facilities

BOGOR - SD Negeri Cimahpar 5 in Cimahpar Village, North Bogor District, has been completed after receiving assistance from the central government through the swakelola revitalization program worth Rp. 2.6 billion.

The mechanism for repairing school facilities and infrastructure is carried out by distributing funds directly to the school account and managed independently through the Education Unit Development Committee (P2SP).

Deputy Mayor of Bogor, Jenal Mutaqin, who inaugurated the revitalization of Cimahpar 5 State Elementary School, said that the school had received attention from President Prabowo Subianto when he visited Bogor City last year.

"There are about five new classrooms and five renovated classrooms. In addition, toilets, teachers' rooms, and libraries have also been repaired. I reviewed it, the results were quite representative," said Jenal Mutaqin, Monday, February 9.

Representing the Bogor City Government (Pemkot), Jenal Mutaqin expressed gratitude for the central government's assistance in efforts to improve the quality of education in Bogor City.

With better facilities, students are expected to be more comfortable in carrying out teaching and learning activities (KBM). The Bogor City Government will also continue to support the improvement of the quality of education throughout the city.

"Hopefully this year we hope there will be assistance for the revitalization of schools again, especially for schools that are on the border or on the outskirts of the city," he said.

In terms of budget, continued Jenal Mutaqin, Bogor City has allocated a larger education budget than the central government's provisions, namely 24 percent of the APBD, higher than the minimum obligation of 20 percent according to regulations.

At the same place, the Head of the Bogor City Education Office, Herry Karnadi, explained that a total of 15 schools received revitalization assistance.

"Seven elementary schools, seven junior high schools, and one kindergarten. The total budget is approximately Rp. 15 billion," said Herry.
