The Head of the Bali Police, Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya, said the Bali Police's Ditreskrimsus team uncovered a criminal act that provided online gambling involving foreign nationals.

This online gambling case was revealed after the police conducted an investigation and found two villas used as headquarters to operate online gambling sites.
During the raid, the police secured 17 people at the Tibubeneng area villa and 18 people at the Munggu Village villa.
"From operational results, the site is estimated to generate an average of around Rp4.3 billion per month at each location, so the total turnover from the two places reaches around Rp7 billion to Rp8 billion per month," he added.
Dirresiber of the Bali Police, Kombes Aszhari Kurniawan, explained that the suspects had been running an online gambling business since two months ago, November 2025.
These suspects were recruited by an Indian financier with a salary of between IDR 4 million to IDR 5 million per month and using a tourist visit visa.
"They need jobs, some of them are guided by fellow citizens there and then promised salaries and leave for Bali," he explained.
The suspects were charged with Article 27 paragraph (2) jo Article 45 paragraph (3) of Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions or Article 426 paragraph (1) of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code.
