Juliari's Subordinates Say DPR Member Ihsan Yunus Gets A Quota Of 400,000 Social Assistance Packages

JAKARTA - Former Commitment Making Officer (PKK) of the Ministry of Social Affairs and defendant in the alleged bribery case for social assistance (bansos), Adi Wahyono said that former Deputy Chairman of Commission VIII DPR Ihsan Yunus received a quota of 400 thousand packages.

The statement began when the public prosecutor (JPU) read out the examination report (BAP). The contents are related to the distribution of allotments for the procurement of food packages.

"The quota of 400 thousand packages was given to the group of Ihsan Yunus, Iman Ikram, Yogas, et al. A quota of 300 thousand packages was given to me and Matheus Joko for the benefit of environmental development. A quota of 200 thousand was given to friends, relatives, colleagues from Juliari P Batubara et al, that's right BAP Brother?" asked the prosecutor during the trial at the Corruption Court, Jakarta, Monday, May 31.

"That's right," said Adi.

Hearing that answer, the prosecutor detailed his question. Adi was asked to mention the operator of the 400 thousand food packages.

"The 400 has a PIC or operator?" asked the prosecutor.

"All I know is Harry Sidabuke," said Adi.

The prosecutor then mentioned Agustri Yogasmara alias Yogas who was the operator of Ihsan Yunus. Adi also agreed that he was involved in procuring 400,000 food packages.

In fact, Yogas is said to have participated in distributing food parcels.

"The witness knows that these Yogas distribute quotas to certain groups?" asked the prosecutor.

"Yes," replied Adi.

"Yogas belongs to whom?" asked the prosecutor again.

"Ihsan Yunus," said Adi.

Until finally, the prosecutor questioned Ihsan Yunus' relationship with the provision of social assistance. However, Adi could not explain it by reason of ignorance.

"What is the relationship between Ihsan Yunus and social assistance? Why was it given to him?" asked the prosecutor.

"I'm just doing my job," said Adi.
