BANDUNG WEST - The central government has directly reviewed the location of the landslide disaster in Pasirlangu Village, Cisarua District, West Bandung Regency. Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno emphasized that the government's main focus at this time is the rescue of victims who are still buried and the protection of affected residents who have been displaced.

"We prioritize saving lives. SAR operations are carried out 24 hours a day nonstop because there are still dozens of residents who are still searching, along with refugee protection and prevention of subsequent disasters," said Pratikno at the location, Sunday, January 25.

In handling this landslide, the government deployed five main clusters that worked in coordination, namely the SAR, health, logistics, evacuation and protection, and recovery clusters.

The SAR cluster is led by Basarnas together with the TNI, Polri, BNPB, and BPBD. More than 250 personnel were deployed, supported by heavy equipment and air monitoring technology to speed up the search for victims.

"Currently, more than 250 trained personnel are directly involved in the SAR operation, supported by air elements with drones and land elements. The operation is carried out in stages for the safety of all teams," said Basarnas Head Mohammad Syafii.

The health cluster is preparing field health posts with 24-hour services, standby ambulances, and a referral system for victims with critical conditions. Mental health services and trauma healing are also provided for survivors.

The health post is located in the courtyard of the Pasirlangu Village Office and has served residents who need examination.

Meanwhile, the logistics cluster ensures the distribution of basic needs such as food, basic necessities, blankets, and hygiene kits. The evacuation and protection cluster involves the provincial and district governments to accompany the families of affected victims.

The recovery cluster is prepared to support the recovery of residents' lives, including the implementation of relocation to areas considered safer.
