BADUNG - The General Chair of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep appointed I Wayan Suyasa, a former Golkar Party cadre, as the Chairman of the PSI Bali DPW.

"I appoint you as the manager of the DPW and DPD PSI throughout Bali, I hand over this pataka, chairman, I entrust PSI on the island of Bali," said Kaesang, Saturday, January 24.

Kaesang advised that the new structure of the PSI Bali DPW would provide great benefits for the local community.

Kaesang realized that not only I Wayan Suyasa who was previously the Chairman of the DPD of the Badung Regency Golkar Party, but also a number of Bali-wide managers also came from various other political parties.

When absent, it was known that a number of cadres had previously fought through the Golkar Party, PDI Perjuangan, Gerindra Party, to the Nasdem Party, which eventually chose to join PSI.

Although it is not as big as other parties, the youngest son of President Jokowi asked the PSI Bali DPW to contribute more than other parties.

"Maybe we are not in parliament, in Bali the province only has one cadre, in districts/cities four, but it doesn't matter, the important thing is that our hearts for Bali always give the best, Bali must be a good place to care for elephants," he said.

Kaesang also reminded that the elephant logo currently used by the Indonesian Solidarity Party was inspired for the first time from Tabanan, Bali, so that the DPP put great hope on the Island of the Gods.

If the new chairman of the PSI Bali DPW targets to be in fourth place in the 2029 election, Kaesang Pangarep sees that it is not impossible to be higher.

The Chairman of the Daily DPP PSI, Ahmad Ali, added that it was not impossible for a PSI cadre in Bali to run for the DPR RI in the 2029 election.

However, the way is, cadres in Bali must be consolidated and still maintain the local culture, not feel the most clever, and respect teachers or traditional figures.

"This question of customs and traditions, I ask that it be specifically guarded so that there is no misunderstanding from the beginning, it is very easy for us to be bullied on social media, so don't know the most, because in Bali there is a party that is so deeply rooted because it takes care of it," said Ahmad Ali.

At the election as Chairman of the PSI Bali DPW, I Wayan Suyasa stated his promise to win PSI in the 2029 election with the help of all new managers.

"If in Bali we talk about puputan, it means we are ready to die, there is a sing sing jerih language, which means that before winning we will not give up to compete, fight against friends in other parties," he said.

"But it means that a small and many shortcomings Suyasa who speaks about political parties, especially in Bali, without unity, without us together to raise PSI, Suyasa is meaningless," continued Suyasa.
