A Series Of OTK Attacks That Target The Apparatus

JAKARTA - Terror acts continue to occur in Papua. In fact, the TNI-Polri also seemed to be the target. Some of them were injured to death covered in blood.

A recent terror act was the attack on the Oksamel Pol sub-sector in the Bintang Mountains Regency, Papua, by an unknown person (OTK), on Friday, May 26, in the early hours of the morning.

A member of the National Police, Briptu Mario Senoi as the Head of the Sub-Sector Police, died.

"It is true that there was an attack that killed Brigadier Mario Senoi," said Papua Police Chief Inspector General Mathius Fakhiri Friday, May 28.

From the reports received the perpetrators amounted to six people. In addition, when the incident occurred, the deceased was on duty alone because the Oksamol sub-sector police only consisted of four members of the National Police.

Three members were outside, two in Oksibil, the capital of the Bintang Mountains Regency and one in Jayapura for treatment.

The Head of Public Relations of the Papua Police, Kombes Ahmad Musthofa Kamal, added that the attack was only discovered when members of Linmas passed around the scene.

"Linmas members came to the Oksamal sub-sector police and saw from the window First Brigadier Mario Sanoy was already on the floor covered in blood," he said.

Danrem 172/PWY Brigadier General Izak Pangemanan said the two members were mistreated by the perpetrators using sharp weapons. The persecution took place in Dekai, Yahukimo, Papua.

"It is true that there was an incident of abuse that killed two members of Battalion 432 Kostrad who are members of the Security Task Force for Vulnerable Areas (Pamrahwan)," said Izak.
