Real Madrid Legends vs Barca Legends to Play at GBK, Pramono: Jakarta's Attraction

JAKARTA - The eternal rivalry of Real Madrid and Barcelona will be present in Jakarta. Real Madrid Legends are confirmed to face Barca Legends in a match titled Clash of Legends Jakarta which will be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (GBK) on April 18, 2026.

This match is part of the series of celebrations for the 500th Anniversary of the City of Jakarta. The duel between the two Spanish giants is said to bring back the classic tension of El Clasico, even though it is strengthened by legendary players.

The Clash of Legends Jakarta event was held through collaboration between Senyawa Entertainment, MPRO International, and Dewa United, with the support of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and DRX Token as the main sponsor. This match is also projected to be one of the major agendas of sports tourism in the Southeast Asian region in 2026.

DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung stated the DKI Provincial Government's support for the organization of the match, while confirming Jakarta's position as a global city that is ready to host international sports events.

"Personally, as well as as the Governor, we welcome and fully support that Clash of Legends can run smoothly, successfully, and leave a deep impression on football lovers, not only in Jakarta, but also throughout Indonesia," said Pramono at the DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday, January 12.

Pramono hopes that the match between Real Madrid Legends and Barca Legends will really be an interesting treat for the community in the momentum of Jakarta's half-millennium celebration.

"I hope that Clash of Legends will really be a special gift for Jakarta in welcoming its 500th anniversary," he added.

He also ensured that cross-sector coordination had been carried out, ranging from traffic arrangements, public mobility, to the implementation of international security standards during the match.

From the promoter's side, Senyawa Entertainment representative Reza Subekti said this match was designed with an atmosphere and quality that represented the classic rivalry of Real Madrid and Barcelona.

"This is a meeting of players who have made great history in world football. Names like Luis Figo, Rivaldo, Carles Puyol, Clarence Seedorf, to Patrick Kluivert are symbols of the eternal rivalry of El Clasico. We want to bring the atmosphere of this legendary match directly to Jakarta, and present it as part of the celebration of 500 years of the city of Jakarta," said Reza.

Ticket sales for the match will open from January 14, 2026 at 12.00 WIB through the Megatix platform. The promoter has prepared a limited quota of tickets at special prices in the initial phase of sales.

"We are preparing special prices with limited quotas as a form of appreciation for public enthusiasm. We urge fans to prepare from the start because ticket availability is very limited," added Reza.

In addition to the main match, the promoter also prepared a number of supporting events. The complete list of legendary players who will appear is scheduled to be announced gradually through the official Clash of Legends Jakarta social media channels.
