JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said the DKI Provincial Government will groundbreaking the construction of a bridge between the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) and Ancol this month. This bridge will make it easier for JIS visitors to park their vehicles in the Ancol area.

"So for the JIS bridge, tomorrow, January 25, I will do the groundbreaking," said Pramono in Central Jakarta, Thursday, January 8.

Regarding this, two regional business entities (BUMD), namely PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol and PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) signed a strategic partnership with PT Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN).

This cooperation includes the development of the tourism sector, sport tourism, financial services, and infrastructure in Jakarta, mainly on assets managed by Ancol and Jakpro.

"I am the happiest person because in this case I encourage Ancol and JIS to improve existing facilities. I am very grateful that Bank Tabungan Negara has participated in this strategic partner. I believe this will gradually make the face of Jakarta better," said Pramono at the DKI Jakarta City Hall, some time ago.

Meanwhile, the MoU between BTN and Ancol includes sponsorship cooperation, corporate branding activities, product activation, as well as financing and banking services support from BTN in the northern Jakarta tourist area.

Meanwhile, the MoU with Jakpro is focused on developing infrastructure and branding in the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) area.

"BTN as a financial partner, Jakpro as an infrastructure developer, and Ancol as a tourist destination are the right combination to realize this," said Pramono.

The DKI Provincial Government is currently building a bridge connecting JIS with the Ancol area. Pramono revealed that this bridge serves as a pedestrian access for JIS visitors who park their vehicles in Ancol.

"I imagine that if there are big events, whether it's football matches, concerts, and so on. People no longer park everything at JIS. The easiest way is through Ancol. Park it in Ancol," he said.
