JAKARTA - A group of masses calling themselves the People of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) held a ruwatan action. The action was carried out at the C1 Corruption Eradication Commission Building on Jalan Rasuna Said, South Jakarta.

One of the protesters, Raihan Pudol, said that this ruwatan activity was carried out to eliminate evil spirits from various groups who wanted to weaken the KPK.

Especially, those who come from the government and other parties.

"The KPK is in an emergency. If we are silent then it is tantamount to committing a crime. So this action is part of our series to warn the people and government that the real child of reform, in this case the KPK, should be cleared of evil intentions," said Raihan Pudol to reporters. after the ruwatan action was held, Friday, May 28.

In addition, this action is also a sign that the KPK is not doing well. Moreover, recently there have been various polemics, one of which is the dismissal of 51 anti-graft commission employees who did not pass the National Insight Assessment (TWK).

"The KPK employees clearly have integrity, have served the country through the KPK. Then, what matters are related to the national insight test so that they are crossed out," he said.

So, they asked for justice for tens of employees who were threatened with being dismissed. "Because if we perpetuate such treatment it is tantamount to letting this regime act arbitrarily and slowly eliminating people with integrity," said Rehan.

Corruption Eradication Commission Building

Based on VOI's observation, during the action, they had sprinkled flowers at the entrance to the KPK building and brought brooms. Not only that, the protesters also wore masks from the KPK Supervisory Board and KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri.

Previously reported, Previously reported, the KPK had held a coordination meeting to discuss the fate of 75 employees who failed the National Insight Assessment (TWK) and were disabled. Apart from the KPK and the National Civil Service Agency (BKN), this meeting was also attended by the Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly and MenPANRB Tjahjo Kumolo.

As a result, 51 KPK employees out of a total of 75 employees who did not pass TWK were confirmed to be fired from their jobs as of 1 November. While 24 employees may still be provided with guidance, even if they do not pass the training for state defense and national insight, they can also be fired.

The National Insight Test (TWK) was attended by 1,351 KPK employees. Of these, 1,274 people were declared eligible.

Meanwhile, 75 employees including Novel Baswedan, Chairman of the KPK Employee Council who is also investigator Yudi Purnomo, Director of Anti-Corruption Socialization and Campaign Giri Suprapdiono, KPK Head of Task Force Harun Al-Rasyid, and Director of PJKAKI Sujarnarko were declared ineligible (TMS). Next, two other employees did not attend the interview test.
