JAKARTA - Teachers affected by disasters in Aceh and Sumatra regions are grateful for the special allowance given by the government to them, so that they can return to optimal learning activities.

Special allowances of Rp35 billion were given to 16,467 educators and education personnel from 800 educational units. The recipients come from areas affected by flash floods in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra, as well as the Mount Semeru lava flood in Lumajang Regency, East Java.
