From elementary school to high school, Vice President Gibran reviews schools in ASN IKN housing

JAKARTA - Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka directly reviewed educational facilities in the ASN Capital of Nusantara (IKN) residential area, East Kalimantan, Wednesday, which includes elementary, middle and high schools, to ensure a quality learning process in the new capital.

On the second day of his visit to the IKN Government Center Core Area, Gibran ensured the provision of modern, integrated, and quality educational facilities from the basic to secondary levels at IKN.

"This integrated educational facility not only contains classrooms, but also includes technology laboratories, science, student activity rooms and various other supporting facilities, to support the process of quality learning and teaching in the new capital," said Gibran in an official statement received by Antara in Jakarta, Wednesday, December 31.

According to Gibran, the presence of a complete school from the elementary to secondary levels is an important part of building a city ecosystem that is family-friendly and oriented towards improving the quality of human resources.

The Vice President also directly reviewed the area inside the building to see the readiness of the study room and other supporting facilities.

Gibran hopes that all of these educational facilities can create a safe, inclusive, and competitive learning environment, as well as become an important foundation in preparing superior human resources for a Golden Indonesia.

For information, the SD and TK buildings were built on an area of 5,520 square meters with a building area of 8,460 square meters, consisting of 2 basements and 4 floors, and equipped with 20 classrooms.

Meanwhile, the junior high school building stands on an area of 5,520 square meters with a building area of 5,819 square meters, has 9 classrooms, and is equipped with various supporting facilities for learning such as laboratories and student activity rooms.

The high school building was built on an area of 4,061 square meters with a building area of 8,302 square meters, consisting of 4 floors with 9 classrooms for three levels of the force.

Each class is designed to accommodate 32 students, and is supported by complete learning facilities, ranging from language laboratories, computers, arts, to physics, chemistry, and biology laboratories.

Accompanying the Vice President in this review were the Head of the IKN Authority Basuki Hadimuljono, Deputy Minister of Public Works Diana Kusumastuti, East Kalimantan Governor Rudy Mas'ud, Deputy Vice President Al Muktabar, and Vice President's Special Staff Achmad Adhitya.
