JAKARTA - The Denpasar Regional Meteorological, Climatology, and Geophysics Center (BBMKG) III issued an early warning of the potential for strong winds in a number of areas in Bali, estimated on December 27-29, 2025.

"Winds are expected to blow at speeds of 4-45 kilometers per hour," said Prakirawati BBMKG Region III Diana Siregar, quoted by Antara.

Denpasar BMKG has mapped the districts/cities in Bali that are estimated to experience strong winds on December 27, 2025, namely Badung Regency, Buleleng, Gianyar, Jembrana, Karangasem, Klungkung, and Denpasar City.

Then on December 28, 2025, it is estimated in Badung, Gianyar, Karangasem, Klungkung, Tabanan, and Denpasar City.

Furthermore, on December 29, 2025, it is estimated that it will occur in Badung, Denpasar, Gianyar, Karangasem, Klungkung, and Tabanan.

Meanwhile, the Denpasar Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency also issued an early warning of rain at the alert level with moderate to heavy intensity on December 27, 2025 in Badung, Denpasar, Bangli, Buleleng, Jembrana, Karangasem, Tabanan, and Klungkung.

Then on December 28, 2025 for the alert level in Bangli, Karangasem, Tabanan, and Buleleng, and on December 29, 2025 in Bangli, Buleleng, and Karangasem.

The region has the potential to be affected by hydrometeorological disasters, including floods, landslides, and fallen trees due to extreme weather.

Meanwhile, BMKG previously detected the formation of Tropical Cyclone 96S seeds in the Indian Ocean south of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) on December 24, 2025.

BMKG has renewed an early warning related to the cyclone's seeds on Friday (26/12) at 20.00 WITA which is estimated to have a medium chance of becoming a tropical cyclone in the next 24 hours.
