JAKARTA - PT Transakarta confirmed that Untung Budiharto has resigned from the position of President Commissioner of Transjakarta because he has served as President Director of PT Antam.

"Lieutenant General TNI (Ret.) Untung Budiharto has resigned from the position of President Commissioner of Transjakarta after being appointed as President Director of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) on December 15, 2025," said Head of the Corporate Secretary and Public Relations Division of Transjakarta Tjahyadi DPM to reporters, Tuesday, December 23.

The retired TNI general has served as the Transjakarta Commander since June 2023. At that time, Untung replaced Sudirman Said who resigned from the position of Transjakarta Commander since January 11, 2023.

"Transjakarta expresses its appreciation for his dedication since June 2023 and is currently coordinating with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to ensure that the leadership transition runs smoothly," said Tjahyadi.

The Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) or ANTAM, announced the appointment of Untung Budiharto as the chief director to replace Achmad Adrianto. Previously, Achmad had only served as dirut since June 12, replacing Nico Kanter.

"The RUPSLB respectfully dismisses Achmad Ardianto as the company's President Director. And shareholders also agreed to appoint Untung Budiharto as the company's President Director," said Antam Business Development Director I Dewa Wirantaya in a statement to the media, Monday, December 15.

In addition to replacing the dirut, the RUPSLB also approved the assignment of Irwandy Arif, who was originally a Commissioner, to become the President Commissioner of ANTM, with a term of office continuing the remaining term of office in accordance with the relevant RUPS Appointment Decision.

It is known that Untung is a retired TNI who graduated from the Military Academy (Akmil) in 1988. Untung served as Assistant to the Planning of Kopassus in 2009-2010 and as a Specialist in Kopassus Group IV in Parako Tactics. At Kopasssus, Untung Budiharto had joined the Mawar Regiment.

Before serving as the Transjakarta Commander, Untung held the position as the Commander of the Regional Military Command (Pangdam) Jaya since January 4, 2022.
