JAKARTA - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto returned to make a working visit to Aceh and continued his visit to North Sumatra and West Sumatra to ensure the acceleration of post-disaster recovery in the region.

Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya said the agenda was carried out by the President upon arrival in the country, after carrying out a short visit to Pakistan and Russia on December 8, 2025.

"Mr. President immediately returned to the country. The flight is about 13 hours and will also visit Aceh for the third time and North Sumatra and West Sumatra," Teddy said in a statement in Jakarta, Antara, Friday, December 12.

After landing at Kualanamu Airport, Medan, at around 03.00 WIB, the President immediately moved to a number of monitoring points to ensure that services for affected residents were carried out quickly.

In the morning, the President left for Aceh Tamiang and landed at the helipad of the soccer field at around 08.20 WIB. From there, he headed to the Refugee Command Post in the Tamiang River Bridge area to review the condition of residents and logistical needs.

After interacting with residents and reviewing the distribution of aid, the President returned to the helipad to continue air travel to Central Aceh. He arrived in Takengon at around 10.40 WIB and returned to inspected the evacuation posts to ensure that government support was distributed properly.

The visit continued to the SMP 2 Wih Pesam Command Post in Bener Meriah Regency, where the President received reports regarding the needs of tents, health services, and accelerating the opening of road access.

Rangkaian agenda tersebut ditutup dengan keberangkatan Presiden dari Bandara Rembele menuju Bandara Kualanamu, sebelum kembali ke Jakarta melalui Lanud Halim Perdanakusuma pada siang hari.
