Police Investigate Reports Of Transwoman Rape Of Dozens Of Children

MATARAM - Central Lombok Resort Police, West Nusa Tenggara, received a report from a transpuan who is also a barber suspected of raping dozens of children.

Head of the Public Relations Section of the Central Lombok Police, Iptu Lalu Brata Kusnadi, said the report came from the village head from one of the victims of a boy who was still a junior high school student (SMP).

"Due to this report, we are conducting an investigation. Meanwhile, we have only asked for information from two victims," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, December 5.

From the report, the alleged perpetrator with the initials Z carried out the forced action at his barbershop in Batukliang District, Central Lombok Regency.

The reporter, Agus Kusuma Hadi, who is the Head of Celebung Village, Batukliang District, sent a report after hearing the story of the victim.

At that time, Agus wanted to have a dialogue with the children who dropped out of school. One of them admitted that he was traumatized by going to school after being a victim of the forced assault, the alleged perpetrator Z.

"This victim admitted that he received indecent treatment from the reported party, so the trauma continued with the school," he said.

From his communication with the victim, Agus again received information that there were other victims who were still his age.

"So, for the time being the information circulating states that the number of victims reached dozens of people," he said.

Brata emphasized that his party took this legal step to see the criminal element. If this is fulfilled, the police will take firm action against the alleged perpetrators legally.
