KPK Investigate Alleged Corruption At PT Len Industri

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating allegations of corruption at PT Len Industri (Persero). This confirmation was conveyed by the acting (Plt) Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu even though he did not elaborate more.

"Still investigating, yes, but I can't tell you yet," Asep told reporters at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday, December 5.

Even so, Asep explained, this investigation is related to the corruption case of digitizing PT Pertamina's oil refueling station (BBM) (Persero). He also agreed that there were parties from PT Len Industri who had been questioned.

Meanwhile, PT Len Industri is a state-owned company engaged in electronics and infrastructure.

However, Asep did not want to provide the details because the investigation was closed.

"So we can't convey the content yet," he, who also serves as Director of KPK Investigations.

Meanwhile, in the case of corruption in digitizing gas stations, the KPK has scheduled an examination of two PT Len Industri staff on Wednesday, December 3.

In the case of digitizing gas stations, the KPK has issued an investigation warrant (sprindik) in September 2024. Three suspects have been named but have not been officially announced.

From the information gathered, the three suspects are DR and W from PT Telkom and Elvizar as Director of PT Pacific Cipta Solusi. The digitization process was carried out by PT Telkom.

The three suspects are suspected of causing losses to the state. This is because it is suspected that there was too much to pay for in the project which began when Pertamina imposed a policy of using the quick response (QR) code for customers who bought subsidized fuel oil (BBM).
