ASN In Bandung Becomes Komcad, Head Of Bappenas Invites Others To Participate

JAKARTA - Minister of National Development Planning/Head of the National Development Planning Agency (PPN/Bappenas) Rachmat Pambudy encourages State Civil Apparatus (ASN) who are participants in Reserve Components (Komcad) to become agents of change and development.

The statement was delivered at the inauguration ceremony for Komcad Matra Udara for Fiscal Year 2025 held at Upakarti Field, Soreang, Bandung Regency, West Java.

The event marked the end of a series of Basic Military Training (Latsarmil) which had been taking place since September 22-20 November at Wingdik 800/Pasgat, Sulaiman Air Base, and was fully organized by the Air Force of the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU).

A lot of things about the military teach about discipline, about timeliness, about order. If we want to move forward, we need discipline, order, and thoroughness. One of the military souls is to act like that. Through this intensive training, the participants were formed into the Air Matra Komcad which is ready to support national defense efforts when needed.

As many as 500 participants took part in this year's Latsarmil, from various agencies such as the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections, the Quarantine Agency, and the general public. As for representatives from Bappenas as many as 23 people who have been selected from the initial number of 60 participants.

Rachmat Pambudy appreciated all Komcad participants from Bappenas. They are called the pioneers of ASN Bappenas who have taken military training challenges in order to develop privately and professionally in Bappenas, as well as explore the values of the military itself.

"(I) ask graduates to encourage more of their colleagues to participate in Komcad as part of their service duties," said the Minister of VAT.

Deputy for Community Empowerment, Population and Manpower Maliki also conveyed about Komcad's experience which provides an important foundation for the development of participant capacity.

This Komcad will provide a fairly good and large provision for participants. We hope that this Komcad develops a leadership, tactical, innovative, and resilience spirit: resistance to stress, pressure, and various conditions that should not make us weaken, but instead become more optimal," he said.

Maliki also appreciated the participants, including Bappenas staff who managed to complete the training well, and even showed achievements.

One of the participants from the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, Iis Rodiah from the Directorate of Social and Economic Independence, graduated from Komcad by winning the Best Participants award.

Deputy Maliki highlighted Iis as a positive example for the development of human resources (HR) and increasing the role of women in the work and defense environment.

"My hope is that with this achievement and the briefing that is already in Komcad, it will be a strong provision in the future. Experiences like this can accelerate the capital of human resources, including in leading and carrying out work more systematically, innovatively, and creatively," he said.

Head of the Human Resources Bureau of the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas Ellis Indrawati added that involvement in the Komcad Curriculum taught many strategies to survive in the struggles of this era, which is in the form of war but not physical.

By participating in the Komcad program, he continued, human resources can be mentally ready, ideologically, and with a high-rise love for the country.
