KPK Summons 2 Suspects In The Corruption Case In The Procurement Of BJB Bank Ads

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has again summoned two suspects for alleged corruption in the procurement of advertisements for advertising at PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten Tbk or Bank BJB (BJBR) today, November 26.

Those who were summoned were Suhendrik as Director of PT Wahana Semesta Bandung Ekspres and Widi Hartoto who is the Head of the Change Management Office Division of Bank BJB or the former Head of the Corporate Secretary Division of Bank BJB 2020-2024. Even so, both of them were summoned in their capacity as witnesses.

"KPK has scheduled an examination of witnesses suspected of corruption related to the procurement of advertisements at the West Java and Banten Regional Development Banks (BJB)," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, November 26.

Budi has not detailed the material that the two suspects will investigate. "The investigation was carried out at the KPK's Red and White building," he said.

As for the information gathered, Suhendrik has been undergoing examination since 10.13 WIB. Meanwhile, Widi was questioned by investigators since 09.59 WIB.

Apart from Suhendrik and Widi, the anti-corruption commission has summoned two other suspects for questioning on Tuesday, November 25.

They are Ikin Asikin Dulmanan as controllers of the Antedja Muliatama and Cakrawala Creasi and Raden Sophan Jaya Kusuma as controllers of PT Cipta Karya Sukses Bersama (CKSB) and PT Cipta Karya Mandiri Bersama (CKMB).

However, Budi also explained the material examined by investigators from the examination.

Previously reported, the KPK has named five suspects in connection with allegations of corruption in the procurement of advertisements at PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten Tbk or Bank BJB (BJBR).

They are former President Director of Bank BJB Yuddy Renaldi; Head of Bank BJB Corporate Secretary Division Widi Hartoto; Agency Controller Antedja Muliatama and Cakrawala Kreasi Mandiri Ikin Asikin Dulmanan; Agency Controller BSC Advertising and PT Wahana Semesta Bandung Ekspres (WSBE) Suhendrik; and Controller of PT Cipta Karya Sukses Bersama (CKSB) and PT Cipta Karya Mandiri Bersama (CKMB) Raden Sophan Jaya Kusuma.

This case investigation warrant (sprindik) was issued on February 27, 2025. The actions of the five suspects are suspected of having caused the state to lose up to Rp22 billion.

Currently, the detention has not been carried out on five suspects. However, they have been prevented from traveling abroad for six months and can be extended according to the needs of the investigation.

In handling this alleged corruption, investigators have searched a number of places. One of them, Ridwan Kamil's private house and confiscated a Royal Enfield motorcycle.

Then also confiscated Mercedes Benz 280 SL or Mercy Pagoda from a workshop in Bandung City. Later, investigators found out that this car was bought by Ridwan Kamil from the family of the 3rd President of the Republic of Indonesia B. J. Habibie.

However, this car was then handed over to Ilham Habibie as the son of B. J. Habibie. The KPK said the return was made because Ridwan Kamil had not yet completed the sale and the money that had been paid had previously been handed over.
