JAKARTA - Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka arrived in the country, Monday, November 24 morning, after attending the G-20 Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Gibran landed on the Presidential plane of the Republic of Indonesia at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, East Jakarta at around 09.50 WIB. He arrived with Deputy Foreign Minister Arrmanatha C Nasir and Deputy Minister of Finance Thomas Djiwandono.
Gibran has completed a 3-day working visit to South Africa from November 21 to 23, 2025. He attended the G-20 Summit at the Johannesburg Expo Center.
The G-20 Summit, which was first held in Africa, was divided into three sessions. Gibran made a direct speech in the three sessions.
The first session, Gibran also discussed economic and financial issues. He showed off the QRIS national payment system in front of the leaders of the G-20 countries and greeted President Prabowo Subianto for South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.
