Cak Imin: Big PKB Due To Historical Power, Not Supported By Executives And Legislatives

JAKARTA - Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB), Muhaimin Iskandar or CakImin, emphasized that the current big name of PKB is not due to the acquisition of seats in parliament or ministers in the cabinet, but a long history behind its birth.

"This PKB is big not because there are many seats, not because it is supported by complete executives and legislature. But this PKB was born because of historical forces that motivated the life and birth of PKB," said Cak Imin at the inauguration ceremony of the Panji Bangsa in Kampoeng Wisata Gowes, Depok, West Java, Saturday, November 22.

Cak Imin also assessed that the birth of the Panji Bangsa, which was inaugurated today, further complements the struggle structure of the PKB as a party built from the foundations of the community and nationality. According to him, the Panji Bangsa is part of the 'denyut' history of the PKB.

Coordinating Minister for Human Development in the Red and White Cabinet President Prabowo Subianto's government also emphasized that political struggles do not always run smoothly. Cak Imin reminded all PKB cadres to always be ready to face the tides of the times. Our struggle is not easy. Our political life is sometimes extraordinary, sometimes receding backwards. That is the challenge, he stressed. Even so, Cak Imin is optimistic that PKBakan will continue to accelerate and be able to answer demands for change. He also believes that PKB will contribute to improving the nation's problems. We will go forward as the challenges and demands of changing times are. We will go forward as the needs of civilization are in front of our eyes," he said. Cak Imin then asked all cadres to maintain the consistency of moral and spiritual values as the main strength of the PKB struggle.These two strengths are enough for us to organize this nation, improve the shortcomings of this nation, and God willing to solve the entire problem of our national life, "he concluded
