Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Saifullah Yusuf or Gus Ipul emphasized that the accuracy of the National Sole Social Economic Data (DTSEN) is the determinant of the accuracy of the distribution of government interventions to Beneficiary Families (KPM).

In Malang City, East Java, Thursday night, Social Minister Saifullah Yusuf said to ensure that DTSEN requires collaboration between the regional government and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in carrying out data updating.

"What this data requires is collaboration for updating, because this data is very important. If the data is accurate, intervention from us will also be right on target and have an impact," said Gus Ipul, quoted by Antara, Friday, November 21.

In addition to certainty of impact for recipients, DTSEN's match with real conditions in the field will have an impact on the ease of integrating the central government program with the regions.

"So that sectoral egos can be avoided," said the Minister of Social Affairs.

The Minister of Social Affairs said that the collaboration commitment in order to update DTSEN had been shown by the local government (Pemda) together with district/city BPS throughout East Java Province, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Provision, Utilization, and Data Development and/or Information Statistics in the Context of Regional Development.

The MoU is a strategic step to follow up on Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 4 of 2025 concerning DTSEN.

"I inform you that our data is good, not all of them are right on target, but when compared to six to seven months ago our data is currently getting more accurate," said Gus Ipul.

Meanwhile, Head of BPS RI Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti said the collaboration in East Java strengthened efforts to update DTSEN with all governments at the district/city level in the province.

"We are with the Governor of East Java as conveyed by the Minister of Social Affairs, launching an application called Singosari," he said.

The application is the result of collaboration between BPS and the East Java Provincial Government to distribute village potential data.

"Later on, the Singosari application will become a complete dashboard, not only the provincial level but districts and cities to the sub-district and village levels. It can be used together with provincial and district and city governments to formulate policies," said Amalia.
