34 Thousand Entry Letters, Minister Of Culture Fadli Zon Sets Winners Of The 2025 Writing Competition

JAKARTA - Minister of Culture Fadli Zon announced the winner of the 2025 National Letter Writing Competition with the theme Letter to My Hero, Wednesday, November 19. The competition, which was held by the Ministry of Culture with the Indonesian Philatelian Association and PT Pos Indonesia, attracted 34,081 participants from SMP, SMA, and universities.

The announcement was made via video, coinciding with the momentum of the Literacy Month and Heroes' Day. Fadli said the number of participants showed that the younger generation was still interested in writing letters by hand amidst the dominance of technology.

"I appreciate the highest committee that has succeeded in mobilizing tens of thousands of students and students," he said. He emphasized that this competition is proof that Gen Z still has attention to the value of heroism and the history of his nation.

Of the total work that came in, 2,571 were declared ineligible. In the junior high school category, judges Mutia Sukma, Nana Sukmana, and Wahyu Fanyuda chose five winners from 18,136 letters: Revify Khalillah Cinda Rizky, Tania Zahra, Holila Hiclassify, Andan Sukma Rizki, and Ida Ayu Putu Ngurah Ananda.

The SMA category resulted in five winners from 12,110 participants: Marsya Alisya Septiana Ramadani, Nawal Izatul Marwah, Raviky Arlan Ardiansyah, Fauzan Al Fajriansyah, and Rizky Alfarizi.

At the student level, the judges of Topics Mulyana, Irfan Hidayatullah, and Mahpudi chose five winners from 1,264 letters: Mulyadi Pardosi, Reisa Savah Rahmawati, Ade Kurnia Ilham, Roybafihi Adam Muharram, and Bening Christalica Damai Nugraha.

Fadli closed by congratulating the winners and hoped that this achievement would be a trigger for other participants to continue to hone their writing skills.
