Police Investigate The Death Of A Semarang Untag Lecturer Who Was Found Dead In A Hotel

The case of the death of a lecturer at the University of August 17, 1945 (Untag) Semarang with the initials D (35) at a hotel in the Gajahmungkur area continues to leave a question mark. The victim was found by a police officer with the rank of AKBP with the initials B, who is now one of the key witnesses and is also questioned by investigators.

Victim D was found dead in hotel room number 210 on Monday, November 17 at around 05.30 WIB. AKBP B, who is a member of the Directorate of Samapta of the Central Java Police, is said to be the first person to find the victim's body.

Dirreskrimum Polda Central Java, Kombes Pol Dwi Subagio said that his party was still waiting for the official autopsy results to determine the cause of death of the victim.

"The autopsy has been completed. We haven't got the written results yet," said Kombes Pol Dwi Subagyo at the Central Java Police Headquarters, Wednesday, November 19.

He emphasized that investigators continue to investigate, including examining AKBP B.

Chairman of the Young Community of Mudi Alumni Untag Semarang, Jansen, also asked the police to reveal this case transparently and without protection from anyone.

Jansen said there were a number of irregularities that made families and alumni wonder. One of them is the condition of the victim who was found naked.

"The oddity is that we heard that Mrs. D had a history of illness, when at the crime scene the victim's discovery was found naked, it was also an irregularity. Then, the relationship between Mrs. D and our police officers needs to be thoroughly investigated," he explained.

"It's quite odd. The discovery and processing of the crime scene took quite a long time, the victim and key witnesses had the same address, even though only the victims lived there. The only one who is a police officer is a visitor or something, I don't know," he explained.

Until now the investigation is still ongoing. The police confirmed that they would reveal the case of the death of the Untag Semarang lecturer completely after all the evidence and autopsy results were completed.
