The Attorney General's Office (AGO) searched a number of places related to the 201620 tax corruption case.
"It is true, there have been legal actions in the form of searches in several places related to alleged corruption in reducing the obligation to pay tax on companies/taxpayers in 2016-2020," said Head of the AGO's Pen for Law, Anang Supriatna, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, November 17.
This case is related to tax workers at the Directorate of Taxes at the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu).
Regarding the timing and location of the search, Anang did not reveal it.
He also has not disclosed the case of this corruption case.
Nevertheless, he said this case had gone up to the investigation stage.
